Just when you thought you had everything you need in your offroad kit, ARB has just released a new product which would make a good little pressie in time for Christmas.
For those for whom a few seconds saved is a must, there is the new Tyre Inflator available to complement the already good Tyre Inflation Kit.



Others on various forums have made their own versions of these, sourcing parts from places like Glenfords et al for just under the $100 mark so at $45.95 this new product means you couldn't make it this cheap yourself.

Eventually I may buy one and will look to adapt the fittings on my Blue Tongue compressor to suit.

I bought something very similar to that from Bunnings (about 18mths ago) for about $20, and it's still going strong

I got one like that with my compressor kit. No more trips to the servo

stupid question and I know I should go out to the garage, but can anyone tell me off the top of there head what size air hose ARB use? thinking of changing all the fittings to quick release so I can use something like this

Not sure of the hose size but they use the smaller US sized fittings... you can get them from the air and power tool centre

It does look like an excellent bit of kit and a brilliant price.
I want one too.

Also, be careful if you are buying airline fittings that you get the correct ones.
If you accidently purchase the wrong ones it can be an expensive exercise.

Yeah when the time comes I'll be buying locally over the counter and I'll have the gauge and air line with me to make sure. I'll either adapt my compressor outlet to an ARB hose or modify my existing hose to suit the inflator inlet.

i got the same one 2 or 3 years ago for $14 and never had a problem with it

You guys got any pictures? Cheaper is better if it works and it sounds like it does. Which isle/area at Bunnings?

Come to think of it now, I might already have something similar, bought with a bunch of stuff years ago from a mate, in a cupboard in the garage

Dam sight cheeper then the ARB one as well

and I was only at bunnings today
