Saw a small snippett in the local paper today (no pics) that there was a serious rollover at Janowen Hills on Saturday afternoon. Wondering if was anyone from the comp or a general user of the park as there has been very little said so far? The occupant/driver is reported to have suffered spinal injuries.

Hi Guys,
It was Weston and he's fine and Josh turned in time to be able to deflect himself away from the ute. He tells me that it was not as bad as the rollover we had in the zook at the springs, he is no were as sore now as he was then. As for the fire and rescue coming out it was for precaution more than anything and something that happens when an ambulance is called to a vehicle rollover. The newspapers need to make it more dramatic then it really after all we all know that thats what sells the papers. A big cheers to the 4wd community who once again pulled together when someone was in trouble. As for the lux RIP bring on the shorty. Jacquie and myself can not thank all concerned enough. This is what makes it great. Congrates to all competitors.
Cheers Mick.

That's a bloody shame. That is (was) such a nice Lux. Main thing is Weston is OK.
Mick/Chris, what track or area of the park did it occur?

yeh was ashame it happened but the main thing is Weston is all ok and as mick said all dramatised maybe they should have put in the paper about how the 4wd community bands together to help out others in need of it that would be a better headline.
Mick we are all here to help at anytime thats what we all do mate.

Good to hear he was ok.... It is a risky game we play, and things can go very wrong, but it is nice to hear that it was only car that really copped the damaged. they can be replaced, people cant.

That really, really sucks. That is such a shame to see it come to an end like that because of a comp. Was one of my favourite luxes getting around as it was so refined and simple looking, yet very capable. Maybe a new cab Weston to get you going again?
